Weekend Snapshot: Omelette

Yesterday (Sunday), hubby cooked breakfast for us … his version of an omelette. He normally doesn’t cook (he prefers take outs, LOL) but when he does … it’s really yummy! That’s his fluffy omelette, filled with green peas, carrots, sweet corn, cheese, and tuna flakes, cooked in olive oil. I think it’s relatively healthy. And definitely delish!

Yesterday I saw these two lovebirds sitting in a corner. I was in the car, and we were moving, hence the blurry image.

Valentine’s Day is still a bit far, but I think it’s so sweet when I see couples like this, and I really hope that they will stay forever. That caption there I remembered from a song, but didn’t know the singer. It’s an oldie, LOL. Found the video at YouTube.

After we visited my MIL and SIL for Christmas, we went back home early morning to avoid the city traffic … and this greeted us as we were nearing the city. I was pretty lucky to be getting this shot since it was cloudy and drizzling that time.

Weekend Snapshot: Huge Clock

Passed by here two weekends ago … that’s the clock at the Manila City Hall (while below the shot you can see two jeepneys ~ parts of them, anyway).
We normally don’t pass this place (because of the traffic in getting there!), but I love the area.

I like it’s “old charm”.

Weekend Snapshot

This was what I did yesterday … spent the afternoon “playing”. Nope, not the soccer ( I just wish! LOL ) but this digital scrapbook thingy. The paper and embellishments aren’t mine … just the shot. This is really addictive!

The photo was taken one weekend while watching some college guys playing soccer. It was almost getting dark, so the quality isn’t that great. Tried the “panning” technique here, wherein I “followed” the moving objects and then “clicked”. No tripod, or anything. As usual, hand-held. I keep forgetting my tripod … sigh.

Weekend Snapshot

Last weekend, sights like these were kind of common, because of the election that will be held today (29Oct2007). Not only that, some of those campaign papers were found on the streets, too. Messy walls! Messy roads!

I hope that the first thing that the appointed officials will do is to have the places cleaned up! Then beef up the security around our area.

Or maybe I’m just being paranoid.

just look at the guy’s back muscles!
must have been from the daily coconut job that he does.
