It drizzled for a bit while we were about to leave the house last Saturday … I think it was a good photo opportunity, though our car’s windshield could have been cleaner!

Yup, that’s one of our neighbor’s cats. Sometimes my father feeds them, and he doesn’t like it when our dogs chases them around. The cats aren’t that cozy with us, though. They still act kind of ‘wild’ so we don’t try to touch them, or anything. Of course, I can take their pictures and sometimes they don’t mind. Or maybe I was just lucky that day.

Yesterday we attended my son’s taekwondo promotion test … from being a high blue belter, he’s now promoted to being a low red belter!

That’s part of what we had this weekend … we call them “lato“. They tastes like the fresh sea and the way they “pop” inside your mouth when you eat them is kind of funny at first. Tastes great sprinkled with calamansi/lemon juice!

Found these sparrows while hubby and I were ordering our food. I really liked the way the birds seemed to be surveying their territories. Or maybe they were just looking for something to eat.

I believe the house next door had some caged birds since we kept hearing those twittering sounds even after the sparrows had already left.

Yesterday (Sunday), hubby cooked breakfast for us … his version of an omelette. He normally doesn’t cook (he prefers take outs, LOL) but when he does … it’s really yummy! That’s his fluffy omelette, filled with green peas, carrots, sweet corn, cheese, and tuna flakes, cooked in olive oil. I think it’s relatively healthy. And definitely delish!

Yesterday I saw these two lovebirds sitting in a corner. I was in the car, and we were moving, hence the blurry image.

Valentine’s Day is still a bit far, but I think it’s so sweet when I see couples like this, and I really hope that they will stay forever. That caption there I remembered from a song, but didn’t know the singer. It’s an oldie, LOL. Found the video at YouTube.

After we visited my MIL and SIL for Christmas, we went back home early morning to avoid the city traffic … and this greeted us as we were nearing the city. I was pretty lucky to be getting this shot since it was cloudy and drizzling that time.
