Oh my … it has been ages since I first watched this. A friend who was then taking her masteral studies abroad sent me a link to this video and the first time I heard it, I immediately LOVED it! But it wasn’t after a few weeks later that I got his cd, though. We were leaving in the province back then and I simply didn’t have the time to go to the “main city” and purchase Josh Groban’s cd instantly.

Lost Horizon

This was something that I really loved watching when I was younger … and that was like EONS ago!

My sisters and I loved this movie and the soundtrack … so much that we decided to buy a cassette tape of the soundtrack (of course, no compact discs back then in the province… LOL) and proceeded to memorize the lyrics on our favorite songs!

Those were the days …

Wanted to post this video/song after hearing Doris Day sing a while ago … It has been ages since I heard her sing! Heard her the first time when I was still quite young … an uncle (or was it my parents?!) liked her music and her movies.

Just look at the way she “moves” in that movie … such a classic!

Lawrence

Was browsing through YouTube earlier today … and found some really talented kids there.

This video shows young Lawrence playing Bach’s Gavotte. Lawrence was still 5 years old, then. Cool.

All of us (my brothers and sisters) were “mandated” to take piano lessons when we reached six years old, but sad to say I am not one of the “chosen few”. hahaha. Three of my sisters were quite good though. They received awards and stuffs.

Me, am happy just listening and watching them play. Hearing Lawrence play reminded me of those days…

Heard him sing a few days ago, after watching Meet Joe Black over at HBO. Quite a tragic story … definitely brought me to tears. When the credits started rolling, hubby got excited and told me he would like to hear a full version of the song, “Somewhere over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World“.

Searched through the internet, and I was shocked when I realized that this awesome singer is no longer alive …!

I like this song, too … and wait till you reach the end of the video … he has a good sense of humour!

He has such a wonderful style and his voice is amazing. He is really missed …

interesting how they made this vaseline commercial … cute rectangular white dresses! i liked the end result, though the last part seemed awkward (the product … lol).
and somehow flashing that part wherein someone was smoking didn’t seem right …

but that’s reality.
