Have finally upgraded my WP to 2.6 … so far things went well, and am really really really (i know, you get the idea) glad that things went as “planned”. I didn’t need to understand all the techy speak … good thing there’s a plug-in where you can upgrade your WP!

Yeah, initially I usually upgraded using my cpanel, but after the switch to a different webhost .. well, i guess that just isn’t possible anymore. Something went wrong, and had to install again.

But that’s all over and done with! Not much harm done. In fact, it’s kind of nice since it’s like starting all over again. LOL.

Now I have to find a new template … still searching ….

I love taking pictures and sharing them. However, that doesn’t mean that anybody can just use them. Well, they can, but with my permission. For me those shots are “personal” and it is a shock finding it in another person’s blog without my knowledge!

I hope that everybody understands my situation.

This post was made because so far I have seen two blogs already using my “coconut” shot without my permission. I don’t hate the bloggers … I just wish that they told me before posting it. So far the first blogger has acknowledged it …

Others might not believe that I took that shot (dunno why, it wasn’t spectacular!), but if you want confirmation I can send you the original file!

Lesson learned for me, I guess. I should place my name/mark in the center of my shots!

So for those who don’t want to experience what I just went through, a friendly reminder:

A neighbor’s tree …

It’s been humid here for the past few days … then during the afternoon it rains and you can hear the thunder and lightning! That hasn’t stopped me from getting my ice cream fix every now and then, though. lol.

yesterday it rained again …. and it was another great time for my son and I to take pictures. we didn’t go out, though. we just stayed inside the house and see what shots we can take while pointing our cameras outside.

Did something wrong while in the process of transferring my site to another webhost … oh well. The horrendous thing is that I failed to save my settings and so it’s like starting all over for me again. All those buttons and links … so sorry, but will try to remember what they all were. ugh.

Anyway, lesson learned. The hard way. Still trying to think what to do next to restore those other thingies.

Yesterday while we were at the mall, hubby and I visited some travel shops, trying to find some good luggage bags. Nope, it’s not for us, actually, but for a friend. We asked the sales lady for some Briggs and Riley luggages, but somehow they only had a few stocks. Maybe next week when we get the chance (and my friend still haven’t found the one that he likes), we’ll visit some of the luggage shops in another mall.

Yup, another chance again to go to the mall!

My site might be “gone” for some time since am trying to transfer to another webhost … so have refrained from joining some of my fave memes. Of course, will be doing the tags as soon as I’m done with the task!

Anyway, am off now, to do some transferring!

update: looks like the “actual” transferring won’t be happening soon since I have to wait for some emails to come my way … sigh. I thought it would be “fast”. but looks like this would take days … even weeks! Oh well.

Wouldn’t it be great if you get to choose one of those European cruises being available in the internet these days? I know I would love to get the chance to do something as memorable as that, together with my family. When hubby and I first got married we chose to ride a boat from the province to Manila, and I must say I wish we had a digital camera back then! It would have been great sharing all the wonderful things that happened while we were on that short trip.
