Lasang Pinoy, Sundays: School of Fish

Lasang Pinoy, Sundays

biya

This week’s theme requires fish, and at first I really thought of posting fish balls. Though you can’t actually see the fish there … lol.
Decided on posting this, instead. It’s a batch of perfectly fried dried/salted biya. I first tasted them when I went to my MIL’s place and have been a fan ever since! I think that they were originally a product of Laguna, but am not so sure so please don’t take my word for it. lol. :D
They are light, crispy, and the saltiness is just right … not too much, compared to some dried salted fish being sold out there. Well, the biya that I have tasted so far are salted just right; never overwhelming.

Online Bookstore

I know most of you love to read, and I think that one of the great sites to go would be Amazon books, if you want to find the book that you want, online. I have searched for some of the books that I wish I have, and most of the time in my online searches I almost always end up in Amazon. I know that you can get good deals with them, too. However, since I am not that comfy using my credit card online, I haven’t tried them yet. Or maybe I will just use Paypal, huh?! ;P

Let’s Play!

It’s really quite funny, but hubby received some golf balls as a gift when he went abroad on a business trip. He doesn’t play golf, that’s why I think it’s funny. Still, I know that he would love to learn how to play the game. He hasn’t scheduled any golf sessions yet with his friends, but I know that when that time comes those gifts will certainly come in handy!

Gee …

… almost a week since I last posted anything here. Yup, I am really that busy.
I miss posting/blogging, specially during those days (like today) when there’s a meme going on… i have also been tagged, but i haven’t done at least one of them yet! ugh.

Better be safe than sorry …

A friend is constantly on the look-out for the best diet pills, but honestly, I believe that it’s a personal thing. I mean, some medicines might work well for others, but there is a possibility that for you it might be different. That doesn’t mean you can’t take them, of course. It’s just important that you consult a doctor first before deciding to do something like taking diet pills. It never hurts to be safe. :)

To the airport … :)

I have a cousin who lives in New Jersey (USA) right now and she mentioned to me one time about having difficulty in going to the airport. She occasionally travels and when she does she doesn’t like the hassles that comes with it. That’s why I think it’s a good idea that she knows about Newark Airport Shuttle. I’m sure she’ll appreciate the services that they offer, like being on time and reliable, modern vans, and available online reservation 24/7, among others. I still have to tell her about them, though. It has been ages since we last talked, and there is a possibility that she already knows about the site herself! She is a techno-savvy gal, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she learned about them ahead of me! Who knows, once she likes their services (assuming she hasn’t tried them yet), she might even recommend them to her friends. :)

Hubby, too, travels a lot so he knows and values good service when he encounters one. Last year he traveled to the USA, but he didn’t stay in New York, or anywhere near there. Still, I think it would be great if he knows about GoAirlinkShuttle.com. It helps to know things like this, in my opinion. Makes traveling life easier, and smoother!
