That’s California Maki … I really find it interesting that some recipes for this dish requires avocado, while here in our place they usually use mango. I still have to taste one which uses avocado. Am sure it will taste yummy, too (or maybe it’s because I’m biased … i love avocados!). LOL.

Food-Friday

This week’s theme is about rice …

That’s suman, which is also made from rice (though it’s the sticky kind ~ malagkit). That was a pasalubong from my sister who went to Antipolo during the weekend. It surprisingly tasted real good. I asked her to bring me some suman again if she decides to go back.

Hmmm … maybe it’s about time I visit the place myself! lol.

ps. ate that together with hot choco … yumm!
