Lasang Pinoy, Sundays: Colorful (also Fried/Golden)

I hope I’m still not yet late for this week’s LaPiS theme … which is colorful.
That’s a salad which I made one afternoon after I found out we still had some aurugula and iceberg lettuce inside the refrigerator. My son wasn’t too crazy about the red onions, but still he ate his share. lol.
Looks like I am already late! LOL …
This week’s theme is Fried/Golden and here’s my contribution:

That’s fried calamari from TGI Friday’s when hubby and I went on a lunch date. I would definitely order that again!
Christmas …
Christmas is fast approaching right now, and I guess led light bulbs, or any type of light, will be in demand again. I just love the festive air which surrounds the roads during Christmas season; all those differently colored lights in different sizes and shapes! Back in the province they even hold contests for the best and richly decorated roads/houses! I wish we can go home this Christmas, but that’s just not possible. Anyway, I can always dream, can’t I?
I remember …
I remember when my mom and I were involved in a vehicular accident a few years back; my mom fractured her arm while all I got were some bruises. I guess a lawyer, like a South Carolina injury lawyer, would have been quite welcome back then, since I think we never got compensated for the expenses that we incurred. Oh well, it’s been so many years now and am glad that my mom’s injury has healed well.
