Was pestering hubby to buy me something from Starbucks a while back, and he complied, finally. LOL. He got what I wanted together with this surprise: Pistachio Chocolate Cake. It might look small (and indeed, it is small) ~ and a bit expensive, in my opinion~ but it tasted really good. Went so well with my drink! Want to join this friday meme? Then do leave a comment (and tell me), or click here to learn the details.

I believe that it has been almost a month since my last Thankful Thursday post …! I really haven’t had the chance to go online as much as I want to … things are really still kind of hectic here at home. I’m not angry that I don’t have the chance to go online as much as I’d want to, just sad. I miss visiting all the blogs that I found really interesting, as well as miss catching up on some of my online friends’ lives. But today I am really thankful since I have the time to go online! Might be trivial for some, but for me it’s already a big deal! lol. I am thankful, too, that even with my family’s hectic schedule all of us are in good health. Am hoping and praying it will continue that way … Last, but never the least: I am thankful that whatever we do and wherever we go, the Lord will always be with us … it’s such a comforting though. When my parents decided one time to give us all (and I mean all of us nine siblings together with our respective families) a gift, we chose something that we know we’ll never forget: a trip to Baguio as well as to other popular destinations here in Luzon! Actually, some of us live here in Luzon right now, but some of my brother and sisters don’t, so this was also sort of a reunion for us. The first thing that we had to consider (when they arrived here in Luzon) was the vehicle, since there were plenty of us. If only New York Bus Charter is also available here, we’d have hired them! I like their clean and well-maintained vehicles as well as the idea that their drivers are also courteous and experienced. However, since they are not here, we opted for the one which was recommended by my brother’s officemate. The vehicle that we got was decent enough, and quite large. It was clean, too. But what really got to me was the driver: he was not only courteous and experienced, he knows our dialect, too! lol. He safely brought us to our destinations, and he also became our tour guide. Imagine that, driver and tour guide all in one neat package! All in all, I think we all had a wonderful time. Something which we will all never forget. I just wish that we can do it again, though.

Have you ever experienced moving? I mean, like moving from one house to another. Well, I have, and it helps if you have self storage containers so that moving your stuffs is easier. It helps if you get help from professionals, too. I mean, they can offer advices on how to best pack your stuffs as well as other logistics. Of course, you have to pay them, but I believe that it’s all worth it!

These days I honestly don’t have the time to think about slimming down, much less about diet pills. I am simply just so busy that I think I may have already lost a pound or so! lol. Or maybe more. I guess that’s a good thing (losing those unwanted weight), and that’s why I have to remind myself not to eat too much, specially when the food that’s offered before me looks (and tastes!) so good!

Things are still pretty hectic here at home, and that’s why I haven’t had the opportunity to log in as often as I want. Usually when I do have the chance to surf the internet I check up on my email … after that it’s back to “work” again. lol. Am beginning to miss all the time I used to have when I started my blog(s). oh well. That’s life. Hopefully I will find a way to get online as much as I can. Soon.

saw this caterpillar a few days back … hopefully it will turn into a butterfly (or a moth, lol), soon, without the birds eating it.

They say that if you want to make money online, you have to know how it works. If you’re a webmaster (or just simply want to earn while online), then you should check out Webmaster Marketplaces. It’s an interesting site where you can find different topics, including links and advertisements. You can advertise at that site if you want, too. So, interested? Then do go ahead and check them out!

That’s a salad which I made one afternoon after I found out we still had some aurugula and iceberg lettuce inside the refrigerator. My son wasn’t too crazy about the red onions, but still he ate his share. lol. Looks like I am already late! LOL … This week’s theme is Fried/Golden and here’s my contribution:
That’s fried calamari from TGI Friday’s when hubby and I went on a lunch date. I would definitely order that again! |
