Crunchy Pinipig on Guinumis Guinumis is actually sort of like halo-halo … so far the only place where we can get this is at Ponciana’s along Timog (Quezon City), though I have heard that Via Mare serves them, too. The toppings consist of the crunchy pinipig (toasted rice) and some gulaman (gelatin) and sago. Coconut milk is used as well, including muscovado sugar. Plus lots of ice, too!

OMG! I want to have a taste of this! Is this only found in Phillipines? I can imagine the crunchiness of the toasted rice mixed with sago and coconut milk on a hot day is … heavenly!
