Hmmmmm … it has been raining here for the past few days. Since the weekend, in fact. We were supposed to go to the province, but had to cancel out. It’s a good thing we have sufficient calamansi around the house … for Vit. C, of course! lol.

i know most kids would love to have their hands on the different ipods being available these days. Why, even I would love to have the chance to be owning those ipods with video right now! It sure would beat any boring situation, like when you are waiting for someone who’s such a slow-poke! lol. I know my son would love to get one, too, but I think he’s still too young for that … he’s only nine years old. Or maybe I’m mistaken; most kids these days are already quite advanced for their age, compared to kids during my time!

I have had eyeglasses since I was in high school, so you can just imagine that sometimes I really wish that my eyes wouldn’t be needing them! Am not so sure if it’s a genetic thing, but most of my siblings do wear eyeglasses. Or maybe it’s because of our diet; I really don’t know. But last summer I did inquire about this eye procedure called Lasik. The doctor said that it’s possible for me, but I still need to be wearing eyeglasses, though the grade will be much lower than what it is right now.

I must admit I am interested, but when I found out that I would still be needing corrective eyeglasses that had me thinking again. Until now I am still undecided about it…

Gee, it has been days since I’ve logged-in … I must admit my other blogs have been fairly “quiet”, too. No postings done in a couple of days. Nothing spectacular’s been happening; just needed some time-off.  Besides, there were some pressing matters that really needed to be done (but wasn’t really done … because of the bad weather… sigh).

Will try to be more diligent next time … lol.

I guess some prescription diet pills do work for some individuals, but it doesn’t seem to work for others. Or maybe they are just not doing things right. I believe that if we want to lose weight we must seek professional help; one that we can really trust, and not just because the health provider charges lower for his/her services. It is our health, after all, so we should be more careful in choosing who can better help us.

When I was young (barely old enough to go to school), we used to have these cats around the house. We weren’t feeding them special food or providing them with other cat supplies, since we really had no idea that cats had to be provided with special care, too. It was just a good thing that our cats stayed healthy, and they even multiplied until my mother said that she couldn’t take them all in anymore.

We gave most of them to our friends, but it sure made me sad since I had grown attached to them all …

I know there are lots of students out there who are still undecided about which course to pursue; some of them might already be in college, but still quite undecided. I had some college classmates who were like that. Some really prefer pursuing a flight attendant career, but their parents wouldn’t approve. What happened, though, was that after their four year course, they worked for a while, but after a year or so, was still bent on getting to a flight attendant school. A friend did get her wish, and I know that she’s so happy right now. She enjoyed traveling so much that she once told me that her dream had come true: traveling around the world and she gets paid to do it!

Just recently she got married, but still has no plans to stop her flight attendant career; she just loves her job, even if she said that sometimes she has to get used to being a married girl right now.

Am really so glad for her, and I wish her all the best!
