Food Friday
By snippets on 25th July, 2008

Normally we don’t order sushi (above shot), we prefer salmon sashimi … we were kind of “adventurous” the day we ordered this mixed sushi.
We weren’t disappointed … we loved it! Loved the presentation, too!

Sarap niyan. My eldest daughter can finish 16 pieces California Maki in one sitting. She also likes sashimi which I buy from the supermarket.
My entry is up:

Okay, that totally looks delicious. I have had limited kinds and amounts of sushi, but what I have had was great!! My kids and I really appreciate it very much. When I lived in Hawaii, sushi was more readily available and fresh because of the Japanese population. It’s not as popular here in the South in my city, although there are a few sushi bars. MMmmmm!

I am not big on Japanese food (just takuyaki and tempura for me), but the way you captured this one is very impressive!
