Thankful Thursday

I honestly thought that I wouldn’t be able to participate (again!) today since I just have so much to do these days. Am glad I finally managed to take some time “off” and just be with myself today.
- I am thankful for a lot of things, and the first on my list would be this time “off” for myself. For the past few days I haven’t had this luxury (to be by myself) and it feels good! Am so sure I’ll feel refreshed and energized after this!
- Finding a good household help is a huge blessing for me, and am really thankful that we’ve found Angie. She’s a real blessing!
- Hubby arrived home last night, after being away for almost two weeks; it’s the longest he’d been gone away from home, and both my son and I were really missing him.
- Am also thankful for the support of my family. Not really financially, but the reassuring thought that they will always be there for us whenever we need them.
- And last, but never the least, am so happy and thankful that our family have this deep faith in the Lord; something which my parents have really showed and taught us. Now if only I can impart the same teachings to my son …

There really are so many things to be thankful for, sis. Nakakatuwa kasi yung mga pinagpapasalamat mo are things that we really need in our daily lives. Like househelp and the “off” time you had for yourself

Spending time for yourself is so important …glad you got some alone time. Doesn’t it just make your heart soar when husband comes home from a long trip. I get so excited each week when mine does.

I know what you mean about getting time to yourself. Over the years I’ve gotten very use to spending most of my time alone, so when I don’t get that I tend to get stressed out more easily.

Time to ourselves as moms, that is rare and to be cherished. Although when my littles are away too long I don’t know what to do with myself. LOL
