It’s so hot today … decided to have halo-halo delivered. Honestly, I can’t eat all of that. I didn’t grow up eating the stuff, but hubby did. He can eat all of that by himself! Our son isn’t so much into halo-halo, too. So usually my son and I share this one while we order another one for hubby.

I love reading children’s books! Not because it’s easier to read (lol), but because usually they have this really cute illustrations. I really admire those who can write such books and keep the kids entertained. Not only that, they can inspire a kid to love reading, too. I remember when I was younger, our older sisters used to give us books as gifts. We loved the books that they sent us and that really encouraged us to read. I wish more kids will develop the love for reading as they grow older.

I guess that’s what you’ll find underneath a fern … Trying out my camera’s limits, while using the kit lens that came with it. Am not actually satisfied with the kit lens, but I guess it has to do. I love taking macro shots, so am saving for one. Hopefully, I can get one before the year ends! Hoping and praying … and saving, of course!

We were supposed to go on a trip abroad last summer, but our plans changed. Something happened, and so we couldn’t make the trip. It wasn’t really a downer for us, since we hope that we will get the chance again next time. What we plan to do with the budget alloted for the trip? We decided to buy a plasma tv! It’s still in the process, of course, but that means that we will need somewhere to place the television, like a flat panel mount. We’re already pretty excited about the idea!

I remember I had a classmate who was so much into cars and he even subscribed to a couple or so of magazines just so he’d know what was the latest when it comes to his favorite subject. I distinctly remember him showing me an article in a magazine about Corvette accessories and how he’d love to have one of those great machines someday. All I could do then was listen to him since I was fascinated by the way he described each piece and how animated he looked. I guess I was captivated by how he wanted to tell me all about it, and I was a very willing listener. Eventually, though, he moved on to another school and we lost touch. Last I heard of him was that he had married another classmate and they are now living abroad. I’m sure that he still loves cars and plan to buy his dream car someday. That is, if he still hadn’t bought it! |
