Sis, that’s why Mousey has that blog na nakapost yung “I took this photo from Mousey” ganyan. Kasi yung sa case naman niya, as in per post naka-copy talaga. She reported it to Google already but nothing happened naman. Since she’s not changing her frontpage, ayun, tumigil na yung bot sa pagkuha ng photos niya.

Maraming ganyan talaga. Kaya i-watermark mo na lang mga photos mo, ang gaganda pa naman!

Nakakatawa yung mga sagot sayo, sis! Ang tindi rin ng kakapalan ng mukha nun ah. Kilala ko siya sis. She visits my other blog. Nakakatawa rin na siya pa ang galit sayo samantalang ang ganda ng pagkakasabi mo sa kanya.

Yaan mo na ang mga taong ganyan. Babalik din naman sa kanila ang ginagawa nila hehe

btw, how do you find out if someone’s been using your photos? i worry about that, too, but i don’t bloghop often so i never know. do you have an autumated bot or something?

was just lucky i was doing my EC drops, tapos nakita ko yung picture ko posted on her blog. siguro kung di ako nagblog-hop di ko rin nakita yun…. lol.
lam ko pwede mo i-watermark yung pictures para pwede ma-trace, pero not sure.
para sure, ilagay mo nlang yung name mo somewhere na di pwedeng ma-crop (siguro sa gitna)… ganyan na gagawin ko from now on! LOL.

I empathize with you Maiylah. There is no excuse for duplicating someone’s work without his/her permission. It is just like plagiarism.

I do copy other pics in my blog too, especially those that I liked so much but I asked first the permission of the original owner.

In fact, I owe it to her/him to acknowledge her or him with a brief description and a back link to her own blog.

What we should ask ourselves when doing things is the question: “Do I want others to do this same thing to me?” If the answer is no, then we should not proceed with whatever we plan to do. This question is always useful to chart the proper course of our actions.

or better yet, follow the Golden Rule,..”Do unto others what you like others do unto you.”

Being civil about it, makes you the better person, so cheer up !

thanks for the comment; i was real surprised when the blogger got angry after i told her that it was my shot that she was using. (the first blogger that used that shot linked the picture to my post, so i was expecting her to do the same.) but what got to me was when she said that she wasn’t going to change her post (add the credits) just to “make you happy”. HAHAHA. i wasn’t after happiness (i could get that somewhere else, hehehe) but the credit that is due to me since i took that shot.
well, it’s all over and done (i hope) now so … moving on. what’s really saddening about that, though, was that Pinay din sya. hayyy. would have wanted to be friends sana.

I do use photos from other sites but i always make sure that i have a link back to their site. i do sometimes forget but i always make sure i fix it when i see it again. this way, the owner gets additional traffic too.

This is about tineye, this would help us find fotos that others copied from us. tingnan ko ung post before this ha, ung foto na ninakaw, anu ba, kainis naman, dalidali naman hingi ng permission, like I did sis when I put your skf foto sa drive by eheheheh….cool ka lang, keep in mind imitation is the best form of flattery, in your case copying…

As my son would say: bad cheetah! Hehehe…I agree na mas maayo bitaw ibutang ang name where cropping won’t eliminate it.

i currently use only two cameras, one point and shoot (canon powershot S3 IS) and a canon dslr (canon 450D with EFS 18-55mm lens). plan to buy more camera lens, when canon launches another sale.
