After a month’s worth of feasting on high calorie food, weight loss is important. Unless, of course, if you didn’t gain any weight in the first place! Some people could eat a ton and still weigh the same (like my brother!), but unfortunately am not one of those lucky ones. What about you? Is your metabolism fast enough to burn all those calories that you take in each day?

It rained a few days ago (there was a typhoon, but good thing it didn’t last long!), and so decided to take some shots of the flowers. That’s a flower from the four o’clock plant; they say that it blooms at around that time of the day, hence the name. I’ve noticed that it does bloom when the weather’s cooler … love the soft scent it exudes whenever we pass by.

Who wouldn’t want to own a luxurious silk bedding at home? Well, I would want to own something like that! You can just imagine yourself sleeping comfortably and feeling like there’s no other place you’d rather rest. Of course, as long as the room temperature’s cool, too! I believe that some hotels put silk beddings on their high-priced rooms, and that’s being thoughtful on their part. Of course, it comes with a price, too. But for those who can very well afford it; well, why not, huh?!

A friend has this fetish for expensive watches and I don’t actually blame him, since he can afford them. He has been telling me about this Audemars Piguet offshore watch which he really likes, and when I viewed it online, I must admit I liked it, too. Specially their limited edition models. So cool! But those watches are too expensive for me. So for now all I can do is view them online and just drool!

We all know that some people go into the habit of substance abuse, but that doesn’t mean that we should judge them outright because of their habit. Instead, I believe that we should try helping them, like send them to a drug rehab center to rid them of the bad habit. What we should also be concerned about are the ‘companies’ that supply those illegal drugs; just think, without the drugs, there would be no habitual users, right?

Part of my breakfast a while back … did you know that grapefruits were originally named as the “forbidden fruit” of Barbados? Interesting, huh? Whatever their history, am glad they are not forbidden anymore!

I was tagged by She with this fun meme. THINK BACK TO 4th year high school… Let’s see how much you remember and how much you regret.. What section were you? Who were your seatmates? Still remember your english teacher? What was your first class? Made friends to the lower years? How was your class schedule? Made any enemies? Who was your favorite teacher(s)??? What sport did you play? Were you a party animal? Were you well known in your school? SKIP CLASSES? Did you get suspended/expelled? Can you sing the alma mater? What was your favorite subject? Did you go to the dances? Where did you go most often during breaks? What did you do on the last day of school? I am tagging: Zen, Nona, and Elaine. |
