Seems like they are in season these days. Bought a kilo (costs around Php100) and when we arrived home we added salt to lessen it’s being astringent. It’s only been the second time since I tasted this fruit and I must say I’m hooked! Learned that the plant is also used in herbal medicine … if you want to learn more, do click here.

I like them sweet. I also find black plums are more juicier then red plums. Have a great week ahead
