Four o’clock Flower
By snippets on 16th April, 2008

It rained a few days ago (there was a typhoon, but good thing it didn’t last long!), and so decided to take some shots of the flowers. That’s a flower from the four o’clock plant; they say that it blooms at around that time of the day, hence the name. I’ve noticed that it does bloom when the weather’s cooler … love the soft scent it exudes whenever we pass by.

medyo common man ni siya na plant, Zen… usahay ang color sa flower kay orange, yellow or white … or mix.

Beautiful shot. I remember seeing those when we went to Hawaii. I bought some seeds and planted them when I got home to Alaska and they didn’t take. Maybe now that I live in a warmer climate, I’ll try again.

hi sis!
namumulaklak sya sis pag mga 4pm … doesn’t wither kaagad, siguro after a day or two.
pero habang gabi, buhay na buhay siya.
thanks, sis!
