Summer (meaning school’s off, so it’s ‘officially’ summer here in our household now) is already here and am thankful for the additional hours of sleep I get every morning. I feel so refreshed after the eight (or nine) hours of sleep!
I am so thankful for the occasional rain that manages to penetrate the summer heat, the house that shelters us, and the countless blessings that we receive each day! Also, I’m thankful that I finally managed to save enough money to get myself my first ever dslr: canon eos 450D!

When we got it yesterday my son and hubby were so excited they decided to try it out themselves right away while I was reading the manual (yup, I do read manuals, though sometimes I don’t get to finish them. lol). Below is a sample shot while they were playing with it:
