Food Friday: Pastel

That was what hubby brought when he went to Cagayan De Oro last month … pastel treats from Camiguin. Am not so sure if these were cooked there (Camiguin), but they originated from that place. Such sweet treats! The soft sweet thingy inside always reminds me of leche flan. 
Been to Camiguin once (yeah, once only! lol), and loved the place … you can go visit their hot springs (they have an active volcano over there, Mt. Hibok-Hibok) or maybe go to the place which they call as White Island.
Hopefully… hubby, our son, and I will have the opportunity to go back there again.

I’ve been to Camiguin-once. And only for less than a day. Work! As in nagkain ra mi dayon uli na…..I didn’t even see the sights. Only the beach -of course and the Sunken Garden which you can see by the road.
I wish to be there with my fam one day too. Have a Blessed Sunday!

hehehe, nakapalit ka na? bitaw, lami jud, pero tam-is kaayo! gusto nako ma-try ang ila uban nga mga fillings .. hehehe. si hubby mubalik na sad diha (naa pa siya sa Bacolod ‘ron) will ask him if he can buy those with a different filling this time.
