Play Time

When I was still in college, some of my blockmates (they had the same schedule and subjects as me; the university usually does that to regular freshmen students) used to go to this building in the university where you can play pool. It was the first time I got to touch those billiard balls as well as the pool cues in those leather pool cue cases.

I remember looking at some of my classmates nonchalantly holding those cues, waiting for their turn. All I could do was just stand there holding my bag and books and watch them. It all looked interesting, but I had no idea then how to play the game; we didn’t have those at home! I wasn’t even sure if there was a place where we can play pool in our place! It certainly wasn’t quite common during my high school years. :)

That experience certainly made me view playing pool differently; plus the fact that one of my former boss had a pool table at home, too! My then co-workers knew how to play pool, except me! They enjoyed teaching me the rules and even let me play with them. No need asking me the result of that game! LOL

I have no idea where to get some supplies, too. Until I went online and did some searching. Found Borderbilliards.com and saw that their prices were competitive compared with the other sites. I have seen some billiard supplies being sold in the mall, too, but they don’t seem complete. If you want a store that sells complete billiard supplies, then you should go to a site (or mall store) like Borderbilliards.com.

Nope, I don’t plan to buy some supplies for myself. Not yet, anyway. But now I know where to go to get supplies for myself if ever we decide to play pool in our house! :)
