I was tagged by Jenny a while back … so here goes!

1. How long have you been blogging?
I actually started blogging around August of last year (2006), and the first blog was named Breeze; it was basically a photoblog. Then an internet friend introduced me to Photo Hunters and encouraged me to join. So I made another blog just for that, Picture Clusters. Eventually, though, that blog gave way to other types of posts, and since then it has been like that … a mixture of odds and ends. Decided to get my own domain just around July of this year.

2. What inspired you to start a blog and who are your mentors?
It was an internet friend, Kriszti of Szentes Daily Photo, really. She encouraged me to make a blog of my own where I can post my pictures. But I have had lots of help from other bloggy friends after my first blog.

3. Are you trying to make money online, or just doing it for fun?
I started because I wanted to post my pictures, but when I started reading other blogs and how much they were getting, I thought, “Hey, maybe I can do that, too!”
The reason why I actually started being a problogger was just so I’d get enough $$$ to get myself a canon eos 400D; but now I think I’ll get the canon eos 40D. More ambitious. Hahaha. I basically blog because I think it’s fun, though the money that I get from being a problogger is just one of the perks. Cool perks, huh!?

4. Tell me 3 things you LOVE about being online.
~ I love being online because I get to learn LOTS of stuffs, and it’s cheaper this way! no tuition fees or anything, and at my own pace! hahaha.
~ Keeping in touch with friends far (and near! lol)
~ Meeting new friends both far (and near)

5. Tell me 3 things you STRUGGLE within the online world.
~ Keeping up with what’s happening with my bloggy and non-bloggy friends … too little time!
~ I get distracted so easily, with those links …. jumps from one site to another!
~ I think keeping three blogs is too much for me (have a heart, I only started with this heavy blogging thing around five months ago. lol) … but I’m learning.

I hope that The Native Sentimental Maniac, The Chronicler’s Life, and Verb can do this … their answers should be interesting!

Phones and Polyphonic Ringtones

Almost anybody these days have their own cellphones, and that includes kids, too! I think that’s great since it teaches responsibility, as well as the reassuring thought that you can call your child anytime, or vice versa. Mobile phones are getting so techy these days, though, and like any other gadget, some kids prefer the latest; it should have a camera, colored screen, and capable of playing Polyphonic Ringtones!

Speaking of ringtones, do you have any idea where you can get and download Free Ringtones? I have actually asked myself the same question a while back, and had difficulty finding any site that offers ringtones for free. Really a great site to look for those ringtones that you want for your mobile phone!

Better Care for our Loved Ones

Life starts and life ends. That is a fact. But it shouldn’t be something that we should be afraid about, the leaving time. However, when that time do comes, we should be prepared. In our family, it has never happened that our elders are placed in a nursing home, because we are a big family. But I believe that we should always be prepared for whatever happens, so checking out the Bettercaring.com site for me has really been helpful. They not only have a list of possible nursing homes, but also a page where you can read some daily care news, and some tips from care experts. Being prepared does help, not only is it for our peace of mind, but also for the welfare of our loved ones.
