There’s this road here near our place which we call the elliptical road, and it really baffles me because it isn’t elliptical at all! I wonder why it was called that way; I asked my sister (because she has been staying here far longer than I have been) and she, too, have absolutely no idea why that road was called the elliptical road!

Really baffling … will update once I find out the reason behind that mysterious and out-of-place name.

My brother-in-law finished electrical engineering and so he must be familiar with fiber optic cables. I’m not that knowledgeable when it comes to technical stuffs like that, but I do know that they are being used extensively these days.

Fiber optic cables have certainly revolutionized technology, including internet. I guess it plays a big part in internet connections, including telephones. Such an interesting thought!

My brother finished two courses, and they were both business courses. So I’m sure he knows what business performance management is all about. After finishing both courses, he decided to take another course, and that’s just what he did last year … he started on another course. He’s got a stable job and is happily married. I guess he just loves tackling different courses related to business.

I really admire him for his dedication to his studies. He is indeed quite a guy, and we just love him!

Now that Christmas vacation is approaching, my family and I are excited about scheduling a trip somewhere. I wish it could be a Branson Getaway, but unfortunately, that’s too far. Still, I know we’ll enjoy wherever it is we will be spending our vacation since we will be together.

We have thought of spending around a couple of days at a beach, or maybe at a countryside resort somewhere. Or maybe go and visit my parents. I know my son will enjoy visiting his grandparents. So I think it will be the latter.

Now, need to take care of the plane tickets ….
