It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend. I guess this is true … if a friend hurts us, we feel so bad, like we were betrayed, or something. The pain is deeper, since you wouldn’t expect a friend to do that; but if an enemy does the same thing to you, you wouldn’t feel as hurt since you were expecting your enemy to do just that! Life is kind of complicated this way. Just a personal opinion.

My sister has a friend who was diagnosed as having Painkiller addiction while they were in college. Initially, her friend started as a freshman at the university so full of hope and anticipation. But something began to change during their sophomore years, though. My sister wasn’t sure, because they had different subjects by then. After another year, though, she didn’t see her friend anymore; last she heard was that her friend didn’t enroll because of her addiction. I think that’s a really sad story, and I hope that my sister’s friend found a good drug treatment center that really knows how to treat people with that type of addiction. I found this drug treatment site through the internet, Drug Rehab Sunset Malibu, that offers the most caring and effective drug addiction treatment, as well as treatment for alcohol addiction and depression. Think that you might know a person who needs their services? Then call 1-800-332-9202 right now and find out how Drug Rehab Sunset Malibu can help your friend get back to being normal again.

I believe in living today. Not in yesterday, nor in tomorrow. This is indeed sound advice … I think it’s a good thing if you have a bit of something stashed for tomorrow, though. Doesn’t have to be much, but just a bit of something … Of course, that “bit of something” depends on you, lol.

I’m not overly familiar with drug treatment centers, but I’ve had some friends who swear that not all of the centers are good. I guess I have to agree with that, since I think it largely depends on the person who is being treated. Different persons get into these not-so-good habits that necessitates that they be brought to drug treatment centers, but sometimes they get back to their old habits. I guess that means that the last drug treatment facility wasn’t good for them. That’s why it’s important that we research first about the facility before committing a friend (or a loved one), there. I just hope, though, that the friend is sincere in his/her decision to be treated. That is very important, and I think that that’s where treatment actually starts: The decision to get help/treatment for oneself.

Do you have a friend that needs to be taken to a drug rehab? Or one that just happened to graduate from there? I had a classmate in high school once who looked like he wasn’t having any problems; that’s why I was so shocked when I learned that his family brought him to a drug rehab facility one summer. We really don’t know if a person gets addicted to drugs, unless we’re with them all the time, don’t we? Last I heard about my high school classmate was that he’s now clean; and I hope he stays that way for good. For him and his family’s sake…

You can never lose anything that really belongs to you, and you can’t keep that which belongs to someone else. Kind of like that song about losing someone when in fact that someone wasn’t even yours to lose, in the first place. Or about setting somebody free and when it comes back it’s meant to be. Or how about … i know. lol. You get the idea. I just like the quote. Simple, but oh-so-true!

A very ambitious plan, indeed, but one that is possible. You can help build the cross by buying rights for personal engravings that are made on 5 x 2 cm individual glass tiles which will adorn both the inside and outside parts of the cross. After your purchase, a certificate with your personal engraving numbers will be sent to you. Nazareth history has really been interesting through the years, and seeing something like this in Nazareth Jerusalem would really be something that’s wonderful. Want to know more? Then do visit NazarethCross.com and see what other possibilities can happen once their plan pushes through. |
