I really like this one, by Francis Bacon.

I believe that death is something that is quite known to us, but since we have never really experienced it yet (or does OBE ~Out-of-Body Experiences~ count?), it remains this “something out there” that is shrouded in mystery.

I’m sure that we will all know, soon enough.
