As early as the start of this month (October) we started hearing Christmas jingles already. My son and I would sometimes sing along with the songs; though oftentimes I wondered why they were starting with the Christmas jingles so early. But who am I to complain, huh? I love Christmas! I love the cooler temperatures and the rain that accompanies Christmas here in the tropics. For me this is the perfect time of the year. It’s the time to be sending Christmas cards, too. VistaPrint.com are offering holiday cards for sale and the newest product that they have are Collage Cards. Just upload six photos over at VistaPrint.com and then watch as they turn it into a collage; how cool is that! Some codes that you can use to get freebies are: “FreePen07” (just pay for shipping and handling), and you can get one free custom promotional pen that you have the option to customize, “FreeCalendar07” and you get one free custom wall calendar, just pay for shipping and handling; and “FreeHoliday” (you get 10 free custom holiday cards). Last weekend, sights like these were kind of common, because of the election that will be held today (29Oct2007). Not only that, some of those campaign papers were found on the streets, too. Messy walls! Messy roads! I hope that the first thing that the appointed officials will do is to have the places cleaned up! Then beef up the security around our area. Or maybe I’m just being paranoid. TTags:weekend snapshot, maiylah, lifesnippets, election, sepia

At first, they thought that he was experiencing prostate cancer symptoms, and they were really alarmed. They immediately went to the doctor and had himself examined. The results came out negative for cancer cells, but still, he was told to take some medications. My uncle was really fortunate, and since then he has taken a serious view about the importance of living and thinking right. Not many people concern themselves much about prostate cancer, unless they are the ones (or a family or friend) who got affected. If you want to know more about it and the latest treatments, then do visit InternationalHIFU.com. The site is easy to browse through, and is full of important information, specially about HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) . Want to know more? Then go and check them out!

I do not believe that any man fears to be dead, but only the stroke of death. I really like this one, by Francis Bacon. I believe that death is something that is quite known to us, but since we have never really experienced it yet (or does OBE ~Out-of-Body Experiences~ count?), it remains this “something out there” that is shrouded in mystery. I’m sure that we will all know, soon enough. Once when we cross over towards the light … |
