Last Friday (20July2007) we experienced a terrible rainshower, coupled with thunder and lightning, that lasted for about a couple or so of hours. That is a normal occurrence here in the Philippines, so I continued with what I loved doing … blogging! Together with blogging, I was also doing the laundry (hahaha, that’s multi-tasking!), so every now and then I had to stand up and check up on my clothes. G was watching tv. Suddenly, lightning flashed outside, and I heard a frightening clap of thunder (or was that just thunder??!!) follow after that. I smelled something burning, too. I rushed upstairs to see if a house or post got hit by lightning, but all looked normal. Anyway, when I looked at the monitor, I noticed that it was black … and my modem seemed unnatural with just two lights on. I assumed things will be normal after a few hours or so, so i continued with the laundry. but no …. So, i was forced to use hubby’s computer to do the rest of my blogging while he checked out what was wrong with the computer i was using …. Turned out the video card seemed to be busted … while the modem still wasn’t functioning. i finally called up PLDT on Sunday, and told them what happened. They just told me that someone will call me back. I waited … called again on Tuesday, since nobody called me back. Again, i was told that somebody will call. Pity. What was funny (and irritating) was that i had to “recite” what happened again and again. Annoying?!! You betcha! Now it’s already Wednesday (imagine … almost 5 days with no internet connection!!!!PLDT people, hello! hello! hello!), and still my modem (or is it my line??!!) isn’t working. Am using dial-up right now … and it is kind of slow. But … this is much better than nothing!

Online Storage nowadays are so important, that’s why it is a must that we be informed what products are available out there. Researching and comparing offered products is needed so that we won’t regret our decision to stick to a certain provider. Knowing that you have chosen a product with excellent services and features would also lessen the heartaches and headaches you’ll encounter.
